In May 2024, Manuela exhibited at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation (NMEC), Cairo. 'The Seven Ochres' was part of a living units for the Empower Her Art Forum.

Manuela Madeira is an Irish-Mozambican artist, currently based in Ireland. She is a portrait and figurative painter, working mainly with oils and inks on gesso panels and canvas.
​
Manuela is co-founding member of the Irish Art Collective, Eisil Contemporary, for which she has had the role of co-chair. She is also a member of Mór Artists Collective, a collective made up of of artists based in East Cork and West Waterford.
Manuela has had solo exhibitions in Ireland, Mozambique, Germany, and USA. She has also participated in group shows in Italy, France, Belgium, USA, and Ireland. Manuela is a member of Nua Collective as an artist, contributing to its Visual Arts Exhibition platform. She also was recently a member of the Rhok Art Academy in Brussels (2021).
Manuela holds a Masters Degree in Art & Process from the MTU Crawford College of Art & Design, Cork, as well as a Masters Degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester.
